Yes, all our systems have this feature configured. This feature allows us to provide live security patching of a running Linux kernel while allowing the operating system to continue to operate without interruptions. By avoiding the need for rebooting for every patch released this allows us to maximize the system uptime and availability. At the same time, this allows kernel-related security updates to be applied without deferring them to scheduled downtimes which adds additional risk.
